Its microbicidal action is due to the product&#8217;s ability to oxidize thiol and sulfhydryl groups present in certain proteins, thereby altering their biological functions.<\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p>Its microbicidal action is far superior to that of hydrogen peroxide. The presence of organic matter, particularly protein, does not affect its microbicidal power.
